VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS AND TEAMS
Next Level Volleyball travel team tryouts are open to student-athletes who meet age determination requirements (visit the AAU Website for more information).
Spring Team Tryouts
12U-14U: Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 5-7PM AND
Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 5-7PM
15U-18U: Monday, March 2, 2020 from 6-8PM
Friday, March 6, 2020 from 6-8PM
LOCATION: The Point Gym - 2595 N 10th St Kalamazoo - Map it
COST: $25
**Please note that athletes are expected to attend both tryout dates for their age group!
Below are the 2020 age requirements for each age division (effective Sept 1, 2019 - August 31, 2020)
- 10 & Under Born on or after September 1, 2009
- 11 & Under Born on or after September 1, 2008
- 12 & Under Born on or after September 1, 2007
- 13 & Under Born on or after September 1, 2006
- 14 & Under Born on or after September 1, 2005
- 15 & Under Born on or after September 1, 2004
- 16 & Under Born on or after September 1, 2003
- 17 & Under Born on or after September 1, 2002
- 18 & Under Born on or after September 1, 2001 OR born on or after September 1, 2000 AND be a high school student (12th grade or below) during some part of the current academic year.
Pre-registration for tryouts is available below. Please bring a copy of the student-athlete’s birth certificate to the tryout. This helps the coaching staff verify student-athletes’ ages to ensure AAU rule compliance. No athletes will be permitted to “play up” an age group at tryouts—please tryout at your designated time.
